(Luke6:37) Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

The Faith of Barack Obama described through his own spiritual lenses how he views his own religious faith in God. The most compelling statement of many speeches Obama has given which been described in his book was “We worship an awesome God in the Blue States.” There are many ways we all as Americans can say that God is an awesome God, but the most heart felt way for me is that God loves us for who we are and not for what others think we should be. Many others that have read this book may say they read it with an open mind, but also many have read this book to judge and condemn one man’s faith and belief. Some may say that do not believe in the values that Obama agrees with or judge him because he was not brought up in a Christian home. Many still believe in the rumors that he has denounced time and time again that he is not a Muslim. To many of the people who had a chance to read this book as well as hear some of Obama’s issues that he would like to address and change if he were elected, the one that saddens me the most is that racism still exist not just in the color of skin but the division of Republicans vs. Democrats who is most conservative vs. who is the most liberal. For the God that I serve love us all the same and he has the final say on judgment day. The Faith of Barack Obama goes into detail of his faith and belief, which gives me no right to judge him for what he believes as well as I can not judge any one else, but show love in compassion to everyone because I am a child of God.
